Gusset...
SInce turning the heel has always been easy, I had to find something difficult. The gusset. I hate picking up stitches. And knitting the gusset...eww. Worst part of knitting. Wish I could have more trouble with the heel, and less with the gusset. Am I the only one who has trouble with this?

I've only ever made teeny tiny socks so can't really say. Hope it behaves itself for you.
I need to learn how to pick up stitches. That seems to be what is giving me the most difficulty when I've *attempted* to make socks. Tomorrow I will bring my Irish hiking scarf and this new hat I'm making to work on. I probably won't start socks until Stephanie returns the week after.
